Having a hard time reading this article? Is it because you’re tired and can’t concentrate? Time to try CBD!
Does CBD Work?
The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is distributed throughout the body, and regulates the body’s systems, like the microchips in a smart watch.
The molecules in CBD can bind to a multitude of receptors within the body.
• CB1 – The central and peripheral nervous system.
• CB2 – The brain, immune system, and gastrointestinal system.
This means that no matter the distribution method, your body has a way of taking in CBD!
A study, conducted in 2006, on CBD’s effects on the sleeping mechanisms of rats was conducted – the rats responded well in that their endocannabinoid systems both signaled for deep sleep, and then once the rats entered it, regulated that deep sleep.
Stress and anxiety are at an all time high in our modern lives – and as you always know, it can wreak havoc on your sleeping patterns.
CBD has shown great propensity in helping to treat anxiety – based completely in science, as CBD reacts to serotonin receptors in the brains of both animals and humans.
3. Chronic pain?
• Somatic Pain
These types of pain come from direct injury to bones, the skin, muscles, ligaments, etc. – this is described as a throbbing and sharp pain, often considered completely debilitating.
• Bone Pain
If you’ve broken a bone before and had it heal up, but are still experiencing site pain, that is somatic bone pain, and is difficult to rid of, as it occurs due to prior, already healed-over, injuries.
• Muscle Pain
If you’ve got regular and intense muscle pain, it could indicate that you’re suffering from somatic muscle pain. This is indicated by intense pain, heat, and spams from within the skin, at the muscle level.
4. Sleep Apnea?
If possibly dying at multiple points in the night while you sleep doesn’t sound like a good time, then you don’t want sleep apnea. Many people with this condition report not sleeping well, due to their body repeatedly being taken out of sleep mode throughout the night due to a lack of oxygen.
- In multiple trials, a synthetic CBD was administered to rats, which improved their cases of naturally occurring sleep apnea.
- In another clinical trial, patients given a synthetic CBD reported an improvement in their sleep quality of 40 and up to 50%.
How Do I Get the Right CBD Oil?
Would you ever eat something without knowing what is in it? Then it is probably best to follow the same precautions when purchasing CBD oil. It is essential to look through the ingredients of CBD products before purchasing them to make sure that you are both receiving what you think you are receiving and also to ensure that you are getting the proper dosage amounts for your needs and body.
